New Year, New Goals
Hello! It is good to be back :) These past two weeks were a much needed break! My husband and I spent the time mostly lazying about and visiting locally with friends and family.
2015 is going to be quite the year. There is a lot of uncertainty in my life this year. I don't know where my husband will get a job, or how my business will look in 6 months time. But I am excited, change is hard but so necessary to keep life interesting.
I decided to write up my goals and place them into 5 categories:
Health + Wellness
- Start doing yoga
- Take better care of my health, schedule dr. appointments etc.
- Pursue mindfulness + work to find strategies to relieve anxiety
- Eat healthy, cook at home more
- Drink lots more water
- Work to remove or relieve things that cause stress
- Make time to travel and relax
Relationships
- Plan more fun & romantic dates with Josh
- Be better at listening and carving out little romantic moments with Josh
- Keep better in touch with family and friends
- Reach out to more local friends for get-togethers
- Have more dinner parties
- Continue searching for more local freelance friends
Nesting
- Work on improving my home
- organize all our stuff and upgrade furniture
- get rid of old and unused things
- host more events
- Pursue more dog training, and work to relieve Jack's separation anxiety
Art + Business
- Take on fewer but more high paying clients
- Continue to develop my skills and offerings
- Work on delegating tasks, bringing on helping hands
- Get more organized, continue working to better my system
- Think of new and interesting ways to grow and change my blog
- Make time for pursuing my own artistic side projects
- Work on creating side income
- Work to not be all consumed by work
Give Back
- Volunteer in my community
- Support causes I believe in
- Be there for friends and family in need
I tried to create goals that I could actually pursue - but we will see! What are some of your goals for 2015?
So happy to be back :)
