Moodboard: Classic + Feminine
Good morning! I created this moodboard for a new client last week. I met Emma (the client) two years ago when we worked together at Threadflip. She is a great engineer/developer who is incredibly witty and very intelligent. Since leaving Threadflip she took a year off to go to massage school and then (much like myself) decided to strike out on her own as a freelance developer. She now has another female developer intern and has decided to take the leap in branding her business. In a sea of male developers in San Francisco, Emma wants to embrace the key difference that they are an all-female team and go more feminine with their branding. Since I created this moodboard we have chatted and changed directions a little bit (not a fan of the looping logos) - but I still think this moodboard shows the overall feeling we are going with the brand.
Can't wait to get started on the logo and building out the site and brand for Emma. What's really great about this project is I have developers to code up my website design ;) And will hopefully be a resource for me in my own freelance career!
