Cover Up #1

Today I am introducing a new personal project that I am taking on (yes I need more of these...hah) - it is to every few weeks design a book cover for one of my fave books. It has always been one of my dreams to design book covers, so I figure it is a good idea to get some practice and to have some designs in my portfolio. 

This is my first one! I am a huge David Sedaris fan, and when scanning my shelf for a book to start with, this one popped out to me! I love the stories, but have never been a lover of the cover. Anyways I have to be off, so much freelance work to do today! But I am looking forward to this new project!
