Inspirational Quote: Walk Two Moons in their Moccasins

This weekend I watched a great documentary called the Source Family. It is about a Los Angeles cult from the early 70's. Very interesting - highly suggest it! Anyways one of the former cult members, Robin, had a very difficult life after the Source Family disbanded - and in one scene talks about how much judgement she received for being involved in the cult. She uses a version of this phrase in the scene and it really struck a chord with me. I remember as a middle schooler one of my favorite books was Walk Two Moons by Sharon Creech. The book is a coming of age story and especially focuses around the themes of loss, love, and cultural identity. 

I decided to hand-letter this Cheyenne proverb as it is a good reminder for us all!
