The Flat: Mug Collection

For my second post of The Flat  I decided to illustrate my hodgepodge collection of mugs. It takes a lot for me to enter a thrift store and not pick up a mug - this collection used to be much larger but has downsized in my various moves over the years. I love that mugs can be completely kitschy but are also inherently useful (much better to collect than keychains or tiny spoons). These mugs all have memories or meaning attached to them, and I love that every time I make a pot of tea - I get excited to choose a mug from our collection.
