The Moody Project: Day 33
Today I had an urge to break out my old Life magazines and a pair of scissors and make some collages. I used to make them all the time, especially before the computer days. I would have notebooks full of cutouts, and every gift for my girlfriends would be a decoupaged something or other. I love arranging various random components into different designs, it feels good to be so hand-on. But sometimes the leftovers haphazardly arranged can be some of the most interesting compositions. I have a few more thoughtful collages coming in the next few days (I need to scan them) - but for today I think the random left-overs deserve their own board.
